About the Author

Author and speaker Shelley Noonan’s  passion is to assist parents in recapturing the lost art of mentoring. Often times as parents, we teach a little here and a little there and just hope and pray that our children “turn out” or we can teach our children with purpose on purpose the morals, values and standards we want them to possess.  This process of purposeful teaching is called mentoring.

Homeschooling Mom

Shelley and her husband Robert have over 13 years of homeschooling experience with their three, now grown, children. She presents a wide variety of topics and uses the experience of homeschool and life  to  motivate and challenge the workshop attendee. She is a favorite speaker who's message will not only touch your heart but encourage the listener in the high calling of parenting on purpose so that future generations will know, serve and love the Lord. 

Complete Mentoring Program for Girls

 She has written a complete mentoring program for girls ages 9-18  that  are birthed from her own experiences as a daughter and as a mother.  This three part set includes 2 Mother/Daughter Bible studies and 1 Father/Daughter Bible study.

• The Companion Guide to Beautiful Girlhood, ages 9-14, was created in the way she mentored her own daughter. This unique Mother/Daughter Bible study  is based on the classic Beautiful Girlhood and focuses on the foundational lessons of  godly character. 32 weeks of lessons provide a year's worth of vitally important lessons.

• Beyond Beautiful Girlhood Plus Companion Guide, ages 12-18, uses the character lessons learned in The Companion Guide to Beautiful Girlhood and concentrates on the application of this knowledge in three key areas Home, Life and Spirit.

• The Three Weavers Plus Companion Guide, ages 13-18, is a Father/Daughter study on purity. Based on the classic story The Three Weavers, this book invites fathers to bravely assume their God given responsibility to protect their daughter's purity through a close and loving relationship.
