How Do I Begin a Group Bible Study?
Are you looking for a Bible study for a group of girls? Beautiful Girlhood and The Companion Guide to Beautiful Girlhood is the perfect tool for Sunday schools, Mother Daughter Bible studies, and neighborhood outreaches.
- Pray. Ask God to show you His perfect will for this group, who to invite, what night to meet, and where you will hold the meeting.
- Choose one time per week that the girls and mothers could get together. About 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours.
- Choose someone to lead it.
- Invite both mothers and daughters. Or perhaps the mothers are not available to teach the girls with you and if this is the case, you need to have more mentors who would work with 4-5 girls per group. In other words 1 mentor to 4-5 girls.
- Ask for someone to be in charge of refreshments weekly OR assign a different girl and her mother to hostess for each meeting. What a way to teach how to be a gracious hostess!
